Before editing, we establish the audience, objective, length and platforms. We review footage, sound, brand assets and any script, then identify the material that serves the story and any missing assets or approvals.

Send sample files, total footage duration, formats and references. These determine preparation work; a one-minute finished film can involve very different amounts of source footage.

The first cut is reviewed for structure, message and pacing. An agreed approval contact consolidates feedback within the scoped review rounds. Picture lock comes before finishing so late editorial changes do not repeatedly undo sound and colour work.

The scope may include colour correction and grading, audio treatment, titles and motion graphics. We identify included tasks, language versions and any music or third-party assets requiring licences before work begins.

A main-screen film is not automatically ready for social platforms. We agree any cut-downs, vertical and square versions early, including safe areas for text and logos in each format.
